An amazing post, Molly!!! Sincere appreciation of the way you captured the present and intertwined it with the past. Thank you because...this post in itself (including the rest)... is also a new treasure for the little ones to read to their grandchildren!

Hi Molly,
Your Dad and Adrienne both introduced me to your wonderful log. Knowing the family for so long, I am very touched by such loving use of Alex and Sylvia's letters. My father (just out of Downstate Medical School) was in Burma and India with an American/British MASH unit during the war, my mother living in Brooklyn with her mother and me. Her brothers were overseas as well, so the family (on both sides) drew around her for the holidays. Thanksgiving has always been a favorite - this year as well - as 21 of us gathered in Truro, MA for several days.
Gerry told us Thanksgiving was just wonderful with so much family able to be there.

I hope you keep posting!
All the very best,
Annie

I too called the parade the Macy's Day Parade and LOVED going each year. Next year, when I'm in the city (I alternate each year) I will go (and probably without any small children to provide an excuse).

So glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! xo
